Vogliamo essere sicuri che il nostro PC sia davvero protetto dagli innumerevoli tentativi di intrusione esterni che ogni giorno lo affliggono? Dopo questo post con numerosi test, continuiamo in tema con Shields UP!.
Non dobbiamo far altro che visitare questa pagina, cliccare su proceed ed in seguito su File Sharing, verificare poi i risultati. Il secondo test è quello delle porte (ma ce ne sono anche altri, a voi provarli), davvero velocissimo e comprensibile; clicchiamo questa volta su All Service Ports, attendiamo che vengano controllate le prime 1056 porte (impiega circa un minuto o meno) ed ovviamente verifichiamone il risultato. Il quadratino rosso sta per porta aperta, il blu per chiusa, mentre il verde per porta invisibile.
Ovvio dire che maggiori sono i verdi e migliore sarà il risultato, attenzione su quelli rossi, indicatori di possibili eventuali intrusioni… Scorrendo più in basso troviamo le possibili indicazioni su come ricorrere ai ripari. Questi sono i due servizi probabilmente più importanti, ma troviamo anche i test: Common Ports, Messenger Spam, Browser Headers. Test possibilmente da fare spesso tale da essere sicuri dell’effettiva sicurezza del nostro PC da possibili tentativi di intrusione esterna.
Ora a voi provare e commentare i risultati… (le mie porte sono tutte “verdi” 
!)

Quando ho fatto il test la prima volta ho avuto come risultato questo:
ALL tested ports were STEALTH,
NO unsolicited packets were received,

Utilizzavo il firewall freeware (Il merito è principalmente suo) offerto da Comodo. Ho riprovato a far il test ora con Norton360 e Shields UP! non riesce ad effettuarlo:
